DATE: Victorian, c.1900
Some days you see a stone that is TO DIE FOR. Today is that day. Just look at the glow (technical term: adularescence) on this white moonstone. It's set in a lightly scalloped claw mount - also beautiful - and dates from the late Victorian era, circa 1900. It's modelled in 9 karat yellow gold with elegant split shoulders and a fine antique patina.
