DATE: Mid-Century, c.1940

An impressive continental natural emerald pendant, hung from a rose cut diamond set,  antique style chain. The chain is gold backed and silver fronted, and the pendant itself is bordered with rose cut diamonds with silver settings and floral motifs. With a diamond bail, and the snap clasp is set with further emerald and diamonds, and features French import marks. The emerald weighs at a fantastic 20.35ct and it dates from the Mid-Century, circa 1950.
