DATE: Victorian, c.1900

A sweet antique five-stone boat ring dating from the turn of the 20^th Century. Although the styling is mainly Victorian, there are hints of the Edwardian era in this piece: namely the use of the millegrain collet settings around the stones, the use of platinum, and the generally sleek and smaller scale. The gallery features intricate pierced scrolled openwork, which continues down the shoulders of the 18k gold band.
