DATE: Georgian, c. 1810
An exquisite Georgian ring set with a vibrant, foil-backed, pink topaz in a pie-crust mount. The shoulders are exceptionally well detailed, formed as pansy flowers - two on each side - rendered in two-tone 22k gold. An oval halo of gold pommels forms the border around the stone, and the thin band bears French control mark for 22k gold. Made circa 1810.
