DATE: Georgian, c.1820
A very sweet antique seal fob pendant set with a carnelian base, intaglio carved with a dog and the words "May My Friend Prove As Faithful". It's a sentimental piece for sure, most likely given as a token of friendship and love, to say " I am a loyal friend to you", as much as a dog is to its owner. It's crafted in 15k gold throughout with a highly ornate body and dates from the Georgian period, circa 1820.
