DATE: Georgian, c.1780

Gorgeous garnet flower earrings dating from the Georgian period, circa 1780. The stones display excellent colour, an intense red that appears to glow from within. The tops are set with 7 garnets each, that actually look like flowers... with an articulated drop of three garnets. They're set in 9 karat gold with a lovely drop of just over an inch.
