Green White Violet... GWV... Give Women Votes. A secret message concealed within the choice of stones set into this stunning antique pendant; a hidden expression of allegiance with the Suffragette movement. The design and craftsmanship are both fantastic, with swirling foliate/ribbon-like openwork studded with dreamy pearls, and accented with a 1.01 carat peridot drop and and 1.52 carat amethyst centre. Crafted in 15 karat gold throughout, it comes complete with its original bail and it remains in lovely condition.

The Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), often called 'Suffragettes', formed after 60 years of peaceful campaigns. After this, they engaged specialist chemists to manufacture explosives, cut telephone wires to bring down government communications, and engaged in mass window smashing campaigns across London’s West End. #girlpower.
