DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A striking antique guard chain in 15 karat gold and featuring red and blue enamelled bars with white polka-dots and pearls. At 49 inches in length it's ideal to be worn doubled up, and has a swivel fastener. A particularly high quality example of the style, and nice to find one in high karat gold. It dates from the 1880s.
