An incredible, finely worked antique guard chain dating from the late Victorian era, circa 1890. It's French, crafted in 18 karat gold, and features beautiful swirling gold links and a ring bolt clasp to add charms or a pendant. Fully hallmarked and all original, it's rare to find an example of this length (61 inches) and quality in high karat gold and excellent condition.
