Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Round Cluster Ring
Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Round Cluster Ring
$1,750.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
A gorgeous Edwardian round cluster ring set with a vibrant blue sapphire "floating" within a halo of old mine cut diamonds. As far as cluster rings go, the central-sapphire-with-diamond-surround is probably the OG classic, not a particularly controversial take that's forever immortalised by the engagement ring given to Princess Di by the heir to the British throne. This one's home to a half carat natural sapphire, a shade darker than cornflower, and a total of .60cts of brilliant white diamonds. Crafted in 18 karat gold with platinum settings, it dates from the early 20th century circa 1910.
