DATE: Edwardian, c.1910

This exceptionally beautiful antique cluster ring is dripping with old cut diamonds surrounding a central deep blue sapphire. The sapphire weighs in at a jaw-dropping 8.1 carats, and it displays the most intensely beautiful deep blue colour. It's set within a gold bezel amongst a diamond set halo. The old cut diamonds are bright, sparkly and full of life, and create a great contrast to the deep coloured stone. It features a finely pierced gallery and open backed settings, enhancing the stones brightness, and the band is crafted in 18k yellow gold throughout.
