Edwardian Gold MIZPAH Ring
Edwardian Gold MIZPAH Ring
$600.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
Cool Edwardian MIZPAH ring made in the early 20th century, circa 1910. Hebrew for "watchtower", the mizpah sentiment has come to connote an emotional bond between two people who have become separated - either physically, or through death. Indeed, the word is often used as the name for a cemetery often seen on headstones and other memorials. This ring was likely exchanged to commemorate a promise or bond. Crafted in 9 karat, the lettering stands out over a textured background.
