Cute rooster pendant crafted in Jade, dating from the 1920's with 14k gold fittings. 
In Chinese culture, the years of the rooster include 1967, 1969, 1981 and so on. If you are born in the year of the rooster, you are said to be hardworking, confident and talented and the upcoming year of the rooster is 2029. Back in ancient times, roosters played the important role of waking people up. Therefore punctuality being the first symbolic meaning of the Chinese zodiac.  It was also believed that the rooster could dispel evil spirit, hence why the rooster is a lucky symbol.
