DATE: Art Deco, c.1930

An incredible pair of diamond earrings by Cartier Paris, dating to the Art Deco period, 1930. Each earring is dripping with diamonds- set within a gorgeous geometric open worked design. Each one is home to around half a carat of brilliant cut diamonds, set in three downward rows of fine millegrain details, leading to a section of typically Deco baguette cuts, three in total (0.24ct each ear). Each of the stones display a fantastic sparkle and brightness, and the pair are signed "Cartier Paris" along the bottom. With French marks for 18k gold (eagle head), they're worn with clip backs, so no need for pierced ears!.. And they fit snug and comfortably. They remain in excellent antique condition- pure Cartier class and elegance.
