DATE: Antique, French, c.1910

A stylish antique solitaire ring, French made and dating to circa 1910. The main event, a gorgeous lavender coloured amethyst, 1.8 carats in weight and surrounded by fine millegrain detail. It rests north/south along the finger and is bezel set, so all the light shines through and out the back of the stone, enhancing its dreamy pale colour. The band is modelled in 18 karat rosey gold, with French marks to the outer band.
