A lovely tortoiseshell chain necklace, dating from the Victorian period, circa 1880. Made up of moulded tortoiseshell links, it features a hook and eye clasp and an original link in the centre to hang a pendant or locket from. These were popular choice during this time, and it displays a varied colour throughout. A rare piece to find, with a wearable length of 19 inches.
