DATE: Edwardian, c.1910

A charming antique buckle ring in 22k gold and set with the most gorgeous blue enamel. The Victorians loved a buckle, and back then it symbolised eternity, fidelity, strength and protection as the symbol curves around and threads back onto itself, creating an eternal loop. This example is slim, with finely worked buckle frame that's set with rose cut diamonds. Dates from the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
