DATE: Victorian, c.1870

This Victorian period solitaire ring is set with a 2.02ct garnet. It displays a lovely deep red hue, and rests in lovely claw settings. With an open backed head, the light is able to shine through the stone, enhancing its colour and cut. With a rich 15 karat gold band and gorgeously detailed split shoulders, it remains in lovely condition and looks great worn alone, or as apart of a stack.
