He loves me, he loves me not...
A very charming antique spinning top pendant dating from the Victorian period, circa 1880. With six faces each featuring an enamelled outcome, it's based on the French game "Effeuiller la Marguerite" or "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not". However this one has more options than just a yes or a no. The words are: IL M'AIME, UN PEU, BEAUCOUP, PASSIONNEMENT, and PAS DU TOUT; translating to "he loves me," "a little," "a lot," "passionately," and "not at all,". The final face displays an enamelled daisy with one petal removed. It's crafted in silver, with screw on pendant bail.
