The locket features an oval rock crystal front panel within a halo of black dots on powder blue enamel, and an outer ring of pearls. Crafted in 18 karat gold with the C. G. maker's mark to the reverse. The back glass panel is removable for storage of a photograph or keepsake. Circa 1880.
