DATE: Victorian, c.1870
An antique novelty phallus pendant dating from the latter half of the 19th Century. It's fashioned in cast bronze, kind of disgustingly well detailed, and featuring a two tailed lizard riding on top...... the latter considered lucky? Since ancient times the phallus has been a symbol of fertility and good fortune... and, probably, always with a certain element of humour (I'm looking at you, Bezos).
