Victorian 13.5ct Burma Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring
$59,500.00
Description
DATE: Late Victorian, c.1900
Hello 13.5ct Burma no heat sapphire... An outstanding antique cluster ring dating from the early 20th Century, and set with the most incredible cornflower blue sapphire we've ever had the privilege of owning. It's an antique elongated cushion cut, with open culet, and pavilion facets that perfectly show off the stunning colour and fire within the stone. Mounted in a circa 1900 French ring, it's surrounded by a cluster of old mine cut diamonds (2.25 carats total), modelled in 18 karat gold throughout.
The stone comes fully certified (13.52ct natural corundum, Burma origin, no heat treatment) so, as well as a piece to wear and enjoy (or if you want a definite "yes" then propose with this ring), it's a solid investment for the future.
