DATE: Contemporary, c.2000

An unusual set of stacking rings by Stephen Webster. The three bands are each set with a different gemstone - ruby, sapphire, diamond - and engraved with a different London/New York neighborhood: Greenwich, Chelsea, and Soho. They date from the early 21st Century, modelled in 18 karat white gold throughout with UK on one side and NY on the other. They quality is exceptional, and I'm guessing they were likely made as a private commission.
