DATE: Victorian, 1874

A gorgeous mid Victorian diamond band dating from 1874. The diamonds are set diagonally across the band, and flanked by hand carved scroll and foilate motifs. It's modelled in 18 karat gold, ideal for stacking but interesting enough to be worn on its own. The quality and craftsmanship of these period rings never fail to amaze me - you can tell that whomever made this ring was deeply passionate about their craft.
