$1,600.00
Description
DATE: Victorian, c.1850
Nothing better than unexpected guilloché... not to be confused with unexpected guillotine, of course. An elegant early Victorian ring set with diagonal bands of natural seed pearls alternating with vivid royal blue guilloché enamel. A secret locket compartment is concealed on the inner band behind the head, and the shoulders each feature an enamelled fleur-de-lis followed by three small dots. It dates from the 1850s, made by hand from 18 karat gold.
