DATE: Victorian, c.1890

This elegant antique 5-stone half hoop ring is ring set with sapphires and diamonds, featuring an ornately carved gallery. It's modelled in rich 18k gold, with alternating sapphires and old cut diamonds. It displays a lovely carved gallery, with scroll motifs that continue up to form the claws that hold the stones in place, displaying their sparkle and brightness. The details travel along the shoulders, and it dates from the Victorian period, circa 1890.
