DATE: Victorian, c.1899

This gorgeous antique snake has a super colourful "brain"... Set with rubies, emeralds and old cut diamonds. The emeralds make up the eyes of the snake, and the ruby and diamonds are arranged in a cluster across its head and back, leading to the slim gold body/band. It wraps around your finger once, with its head and tail meeting at the centre, and its crafted in 18 karat yellow gold throughout. With English hallmarks, this piece is dated to Birmingham assay office and the year 1899.
