Victorian Emerald & Diamond Horseshoe Ring
Victorian Emerald & Diamond Horseshoe Ring
$15,000.00
Description
DATE: Victorian, c.1880
A fantastic Victorian horseshoe ring set with gorgeous Colombian emeralds. Modelled in 14k gold and dating to circa 1880. The emeralds are bordered by gorgeous rose cut diamonds, with a later added 1.75ct brilliant cut diamond in the centre. With a hand pierced gallery and bifurcated shoulders that tilt the horseshoe slightly to the right, this one definitely makes a lucky statement piece.
There are many superstitions on which way you should hang a horseshoe, however many believe that to hang a horseshoe with the ends pointing upward, acts as a storage container for any good luck that happens to be floating by, however many choose to hang it facing down, believing that when you walk under it, all the positive vibes will “rain over” them. So whichever way you choose to wear it good luck may come your way.
