DATE: Victorian, c.1900

A stunning antique engagement ring, set with a 2.57 carat oval cut Ceylon sapphire. It has a lovely clarity, and displays a gorgeous colour of purplish blue, lavender with no indication of heat treatment. It's surrounded by a cluster of glistening old mine cut diamonds, that spread to the shoulders and it's crafted in 18k gold throughout. A great alternative for an engagement ring, dating from the Victorian period, circa 1900.
