A gorgeous Victorian pearl band ring, bearing English hallmarks for 15k gold, Birmingham, 1885. The ten dreamy stones rest in fine floral settings, and the brushed matte finish of the band compliments the stone perfectly, creating a gorgeous contrast with the silky and poetic pearls. These stones reached the height of their popularity in the Victorian Era, and the Victorians, who loved using jewellery as symbolic sentiments, loved seed pearls due to their association with purity and delicacy. With initials engraved to the back of the head: ALLP and JMM.
