A Roman period intaglio with hand carving depicting a rooster and it's corn, mounted in an 18k gold contemporary ring.
The ancient Greeks believed the rooster’s morning call saluted the sun and chased away the night, symbolizing renewal, fertility and healing.
Asclepius, the god of healing, would occasionally visit patients in their dreams in the disguise of a rooster.
