DATE: 17th Century, c.1680

Remarkable original 17th century iron key with love-heart shaped head. It's German, pretty big at over 10cm in length with an interesting curved profile 'bit' at the end and exceptional 300+ year patina. Probably about as big a "key to my heart" pendant as you'll ever find. Circa 1680.
