DATE: Mid-Century, c.1950

Elsa Schiaparelli was a famous Italian fashion designer, and was known for her fantastic creations in the House of Schiaparelli- starting out in 1927 in Paris. Her jewellery in the 1930s and onwards showcased her talent for bold choices such as glass stones, cabochons and pearls assembled in various shapes and sizes, and her work was showcased in the V&A exhibition! This gorgeous set dates from the 1950's and comprises a chunky bracelet with matching earrings. Set with dreamy coloured stones throughout, creating lovely floral designs. Each piece is signed, and the set comes complete with an original Schiaparelli box. The bracelet has a wearable length of 7.8 inches (fastening with a concealed clasp), and the earrings feature clip of backs.
