DATE: Vintage, c.2000

25 years ago... The world feared that the internet was going to crash and shatter on New Year’s Eve and bring the world down with it. Crazy right? I bet there's some of you that believed this! This was all because computers around the world weren’t equipped to deal with the fact of the year 2000. This is possibly why this little globe charm was made! Made up of lapis lazuli, the map is shown in red and gold and it's surrounded by a gold border. With the year 2000 to the top with hallmarks dating it to Birmingham, and you guessed it, the year 2000.
