DATE: Vintage, c.1940

A wonderful, fully loaded, vintage silver charm necklace dating from the 1940's. The collection has clearly been put together over the best part of a lifetime, and features charms from all over the world including: Belgium, USA, France, UK and and specific charms such as: a toaster (with toasts that pops up), a spinner, skull, "knock on wood", pineapple, box of hope (with nothing inside)... the list goes on. Every time I look at it I find something new. It would be virtually impossible to add any more onto the chain. You can wear as a necklace or a bracelet, by wrapping it around your wrist or even by undoing a clasp or two. The necklace is made up of three chains.

Wearable length: 19.5 inches

As a bracelet: 6.5 or 7 inches (depending on which chain used)

Charm on average: 2.6cm
