DATE: Victorian, c.1870

An outstanding pair of Victorian rock crystal earrings dating from the 1860s. The cushion cut stones are bright and lively, showing vivid colours as the light reflects off the pavilion facets - unusually, there are extra facets around the table. They're mounted over foil, and held in place by silver claw settings - with gold backs and ear wires.
