DATE: Victorian, c.1900

A gorgeous antique clover charm set with a pearl trefoil motif and decorated with vibrant guilloché enamel. Another dreamy pearl sits in the centre of the clover, along with another on the stem. It's crafted in 15k yellow gold and dates from the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Comes complete with a jump ring to add to your chain or charm collection.

While trying to convert the Irish into Christians, St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the holy trinity with each leaf representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The three leaves of a shamrock are also said to stand for faith, hope and love. And the fourth, is where we get the luck from.
