DATE: Victorian, c.1880
A fantastic antique arrow brooch, crafted in 14k rose gold. The head and fletchings are set with rose cut diamonds and the centre of the brooch is set with a pearl trefoil motif, with diamond accents. Dates from the Victorian period, circa 1880.
The arrow is a longstanding representation of love (e.g. Cupid’s Arrow), and when paired with diamonds it becomes an even more powerful symbol... everlasting love.
