Victorian Emerald Cabochon & Diamond Cluster Bangle
Victorian Emerald Cabochon & Diamond Cluster Bangle
$17,200.00
Description
DATE: Victorian, c.1900
A breath-taking late Victorian bangle, oversized and dripping with diamonds with a huge emerald cabochon centre. The stone is highly domed and rests in open backed settings- it almost looks as if its glowing from within, displaying a well saturated rich colour. Its surrounded by a halo cluster of chunky old mine cut diamonds full of life and sparkle throughout. The stones are set in platinum, and the piece features a finely pierced gallery. At each side of the cluster is a graduated row of old cuts, set in-between the two split shoulders of the bangle, leading to platinum points set with pretty rose cuts. Its hinged at both sides, opening up with a gold safety chain, made to fit a 6.7 inch wrist. It remains in excellent antique condition with a total diamond weight of 5.3 carats... A true antique statement piece. Crafted in 18k gold.
