DATE: Victorian, c.1900
A fine Victorian cluster ring set with a stunning cat's eye chrysoberyl within a halo of old cut diamonds. The principal stone displays excellent chatoyance, with a fine white line appearing to move across the face of the gem. The diamonds are clean and bright, and the ring is modelled in 15k gold throughout. A particularly lovely example of the style.
