DATE: Georgian, c.1830

A spectacular antique cluster ring, fully pavé set with old mine and rose cut diamonds. This remarkable piece dates to the Georgian period, circa 1830, modelled in 18 karat gold with gorgeously scrolled detailed shoulders. Five chunky old mine cut diamonds rest in the centre of the boat shaped head (just over half a carat total), and further old cuts glisten and sparkle around them. If you look really closely, charming rose cut diamonds are set in-between the old cut diamonds- this ring is seriously sparkly... With a total weight of 1.69 carats. The stones are chunky and bright whilst resting in the open backed head, with later added French import marks to the outer band, this stunning piece was made in England and later retailed in France.
