DATE: Victorian, c.1870

Remarkable mid Victorian gold scroll earrings featuring Etruscanesque applied gold detailing. Each one is set with four almandine garnets, with three articulated torpedo drops dangling beneath. They're exquisitely crafted in 15 karat gold throughout, dating from the 1870s. Relatively light (read: wearable) for their size.
