DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

An exceptional French Art Deco panel bracelet in platinum throughout. The quality is nothing short of breathtaking, set with old European cut diamonds and calibré cut sapphires, with millegrain settings and openwork. It was handmade, likely in Paris, in the 1920s, and bears the owl hallmark reserved for pieces that were sent to the assay office in their finished form (the more common dog and eagle head were stamped on unfinished pieces).
