DATE: Antique, c.1890

This stunning antique brooch is modelled as a dreamy set of wings, set with glistening rose cut diamonds and vivid red rubies. Gorgeously handmade in France, circa 1890, each section of the wing is individually detailed, each side featuring layered silver "feathers" set with the gorgeous combination of stones. A ruby is placed in the centre of the wings, with an articulated diamond and pearl drop, backed in 18k yellow gold with French marks brooch fittings. If you're not a fan of a brooch, why not wear as a pendant? The combination of symbols from the stones set within the wings is fantastic- with the rose cuts representing love, the ruby for passion and the pearl for purity and beauty.
