DATE: Victorian, c.1860

A stunning pair of antique cornucopia shaped earrings set with an array of glistening old cut diamond. With silver settings and 15k gold backs, each one features a 0.42ct old cut as the main event, with a trail 0.56ct of further old cuts behind set within cut down settings. They're worn with stud backs, and date from the Victorian period, circa 1860.

The Cornucopia was carried by the Roman goddess Fortuna (Greek: Tyche), the personification of luck. These earrings can be worn to top up the good luck of their owner, as well as bringing the usual abundance and nourishment.
