A stunning Horseshoe pin by Cartier. It's exquisitely worked, and set with natural calibré cut rubies and diamonds, the former mounted in 18k gold and the latter in platinum. It dates from the Edwardian period, and remains paired with the rare and desirable green Cartier box (with the New Burlington St. address printed on the back, which dates it from between 1902 and 1909). With French eagle head hallmarks, it's signed and numbered - most likely was retailed in Paris.
