Cold War Soviet Compass Wristwatch
Cold War Soviet Compass Wristwatch
$375.00
Description
DATE: Cold War, 1974
Because sometimes time is less important than place...
A Soviet era Russian military issue compass wristwatch, produced on the 25th of July 1974 (according to the box). The compass needle is held in place by a spring, press down the crown to release it and find North.
In terms of its construction... a Rolex it is not. It feels like 1970s Soviet military issue equipment should - which isn't a slight. It's well made and would keep up with the rigours of field more than admirably. And although somewhat utilitarian, the design elements are there and they're pretty refined. Offered with original box and papers.
