DATE: Art Deco, c.1920
A remarkable antique bracelet made in France in the 1920s. It comprises six enamelled panels, each one bearing a region's heraldic crest: Haut-Rhin, Bourgogne, Île-de-France, Paris, Bretagne, and Normandie. They're rendered in colourful enamel, mostly blue and red with some white and black, over rich yellow pinchbeck that's taken on the most wonderful antique patina.
