DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

This outstanding Art Deco ring is set with THE most gorgeous 8.60ct octagonal cut Ceylon sapphire. Fully certified (GCS), this this fully transparent stone displays the most dreamy blue colour, with hues of lavender violet amongst deep and light shades of blue. Its gorgeous cut makes the stone look as if it glows from within (literally!), with no indications of heat throughout. Its set within a four claw setting, flanked by baguette cut diamond shoulders, 0.40ct total. They curve around two amazing miniature sapphire sugarloaf cabochons, with cute pointed ends and displaying that same dreamy colour. The stones are perfectly combined with a high quality platinum band, featuring an open worked gallery. We've never had a ring like this before, and its certainly a stand out.
