DATE: Etruscan Revival, c.1890

An utterly stunning Etruscan Revival brooch, modelled in 18k yellow gold and finished with amazing enamel work and a central lapis lazuli cabochon. The attention to detail in this piece is amazing, with fine beaded, flower and ropework that covers the entire disc shaped piece, with lavender and white enamel sections throughout. The centre stone displays that classic deep blue colour, with beautiful flecks of gold and black- and the piece is finished with a gold pommel detail border. With gold brooch fittings, wear this on your collar, or even on a chain for wear as a pendant!
